HP Chromebook 14

Read our review:

You could easily call the HP Chromebook 14 a Macbook Air clone. The style of these two devices is very similar. The keyboards and trackpads are almost identical. The size and weight are very similar, although the HP has a slightly larger screen.

The biggest difference is that you can get the HP at a fraction of the price. That’s what makes this stylish little Chromebook so appealing to us.

Blazing Fast Performance

The performance of this Chromebook is not to be understated. The Nvidia Tegra K1 processor in this device has actually been shown to outperform Intel’s Haswell processors in early benchmarks.

Nvidia is known for amazing graphics chipsets, and the Tegra K1 is no slouch. This next generation processor powers through 3D games and applications with ease.

Amazing Battery Life

This is one area where some Chromebooks fall behind. Don’t let the big 14 inch display fool you. Battery life on this little bad boy is unmatched, even with the largest screen you can get on any Chromebook.

You can easily use this device all day on a single charge, even with the brightness turned all the way up. The built-in SIM card slot and extended battery life make this the perfect laptop for anyone who is on the go.

Customer Reviews

At the time of writing this review there was 28 customer reviews on Amazon. This product was rated 3.7 out of 5 stars.

Some people seem to have a problem getting past having Microsoft Office installed, saying things like “Google Spreadsheets is powerful, but it’s no Excel.” Or “I found that I had to be connected to the Internet to access ANY Google docs”. These machines really are built for being online.

There are also loads of glowing reviews for this product though. People have said things like “without a doubt its the best laptop for the money” and “a massive improvement over my old windows laptops and PCs”. There’s no doubt that plenty of people are happy with their purchase, “just received my Chromebook yesterday and already I LOVE IT”.

That being said, I can definitely recommend the HP Chromebook 14, just like so many others already have.

Conclusion

The HP Chromebook 14 is stylish, speedy and sophisticated. It has powerful hardware, lightweight software and everything you need to live a digital lifestyle.
