I’ve been obsessed with promoting twitter for the last few days…I guess there was a little “incident” that set me off, but I found this today – its a google doc and its pretty good – here my three favorites, click the link to see them all:

• Twip 2: If you want to grow your follower base, have a mix of comments and responses. No one likes a monologue.
• Twip 4: Go to summize.com. Search what interests YOU. Work issues, hobbies, city, etc. Follow those people to grow a useful, engaging network.
• Twip 6: Have a bio. It can be professional, quirky, well-rounded, or only three words. Just -something- to give us a sense of who you are to help us know if we want to follow you.

I would add to number 6 to provide a location.  At least state, even if you make it up or put the place you want to be.  It helps people figure out and see if you are “like” them.
