Wedia is a name I came up with to describe what I am trying to do here. I want to use the web, to learn how to build community around the premise of media. So “we” from web and community – “dia” from media.I know – it is corny, but it makes sense for me!

In the vein of transparancy, there is more wedia talk going on over at a couple of sites I have ties to.

• Wediaup is a blog where some colleagues and I are engaged in convo about the concept of wedia.  Please feel free to join us there.
• Wediabuzz is a site where some friends discuss web best practices in relationship to media.  Because that is what they do!

Ok you can call me a Jeff Jarvis Fanboy – but as soon as I read the “It’s not the blog” post, I changed the name of my blog to a “conversation”.
